Gary Reid - President and CEO

Gary Reid

PRESIDENT AND CEO

Gary joined the Madison Industrial Group in 2024 with over 30 years of experience in Energy and various other heavy industries. As President and CEO of MIG, he has overall responsibility for the management and execution of the Group’s business and strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining Madison, Gary worked in several executive leadership roles, overseeing businesses in Canada, the US, and Mexico. This included roles as Vice President & General Manager at both Siemens and ABB Inc.

Gary holds an MBA from Athabasca University, Electronics Engineering Certification from DeVry University and Executive Leadership Certification from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business.

Gary Reid - President and CEO

Bruce Stebbings

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT AND CFO

As Executive Vice President and CFO, Bruce oversees Madison Industrial Group’s strategic priorities and initiatives, finance and tax, strategic partnerships, human and capital management, and information technology.

Prior to this leadership role with the Madison Industrial Group, Bruce was in the role of Vice-President, Finance for seven years within this group and for four years as Corporate Controller with Glacier Media. Bruce has also been involved in a number of strategic initiatives for the Madison Group.

Bruce is a CPA, CA, an alumnus of KPMG, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Victoria.

Peter Rees _ Vice President, Corporate and Business Development

Peter Rees

VICE PRESIDENT, CORPORATE AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Peter joined the Madison Group in 2019, as Vice President, Corporate Development. In his role, Peter is involved in operational management in addition to managing capital raises, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships across the portfolio of businesses.

Prior to joining the Madison Group, Peter spent 15 years in the mining industry, where he was Chief Financial Officer for a number of US and Canadian publicly listed mining companies and a principal shareholder of the UMS Mining Group. During his tenure, the UMS Mining Group raised over $500 million in equity to fund the development of several successful mining companies. As CFO, Peter led the group’s financial, legal, M&A, and public equity offering functions.

Peter is a CPA, CA (2006), an alumnus of Deloitte, and holds a bachelor’s of Mechanical engineering from McGill University.

Clark Usher

VICE PRESIDENT, ENERGY SERVICES – HEAD OF OPERATIONS

Clark brings over 20 years of experience in the industrial services sector to Madison Industrial Group.

Leading the Energy Services business, Clark oversees operations across all business units, driving growth, operational excellence, and alignment with customer needs.

Previously, Clark spent more than a decade at Wajax Corporation in senior leadership roles, most recently as Director, Corporate Development, spearheading strategic growth initiatives. He holds an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business and an Interprovincial Red Seal Endorsement (HET), bringing deep industry expertise and a proven record of delivering safety, quality and performance.

Josh Sobil - Director, Business Development

Josh Sobil

VICE PRESIDENT, SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Josh joined Madison Industrial Group in 2023, and now serves as Vice President, Sales & Business Development. In this role, he is responsible for driving commercial growth across MIG’s portfolio of companies, aligning business development and key account management, and leading sales strategy to support the group’s operational objectives. He brings over 15 years of experience in the industrial automation, electrification, and power conversion sectors.

Prior to joining MIG, Josh was Chief Commercial Officer at Exro Technologies, where he advanced commercial strategy and expanded market presence through strategic partnerships. He also held leadership roles at Siemens, where he revitalized Canadian mining operations, and at General Electric, where he began his career in engineering before moving into sales and operations.

Josh holds a Bachelor of Engineering & Management degree in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University and an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the Schulich School of Business.

Joe Higgs

VICE PRESIDENT, FIELD SERVICE

With more than 40 years of industry experience, Joe Higgs leads Madison Industrial Group’s Field Service business, driving strategy, market share growth, and service excellence across all industrial sectors. A long-time leader within Madison and its affiliated companies, he has held roles including Interim VP, Energy Services, and Director, Large Motor & Generator, where he advanced strategic growth and operational performance.

Joe’s extensive technical expertise, proven leadership, and strong customer relationships ensure that Madison Industrial Group’s field service offering delivers unmatched value. His work continues to position the organization as a total lifecycle partner to its customers.

Douglass Krecsy
Vice President, Product Distribution

Douglass Krecsy

VICE PRESIDENT, PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION

A results-driven leader with more than 25 years in the industrial sector, Douglass Krecsy oversees Madison Industrial Group’s Product Distribution business. She has advanced through a variety of roles within the organization, from Sales to General Manager of West Fraser Electro Mechanical, where she delivered strong operational performance and deepened customer relationships.

In her current role, Douglass is responsible for expanding market access, strengthening strategic partnerships, and optimizing distribution operations. Her operational expertise and commitment to customer success ensure Madison Industrial Group’s distribution network delivers efficient, scalable, and sustainable growth across the markets it serves.

Tanya Tortorella - Manager, People and Talent

Tanya Tortorella

DIRECTOR, PEOPLE AND TALENT

Tanya joined the Madison Industrial Group in 2023, as Director, People & Talent. In her role, Tanya oversees Madison Industrial Group’s human resources strategies, employee growth and development, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, employee change management, and labour relations.

Tanya comes to Madison with many years of experience in various industries, including healthcare, construction, accounting, and manufacturing. Tanya has a Business Administration degree and all three North America HR designations, CPHR, SHRM-SCP, and CHRP for both Canada and the USA.

Fernando Durante - director, Finance

Fernando Durante

DIRECTOR, FINANCE

Fernando joined the Madison Industrial Group in 2021, as Director, Finance. In his role, Fernando oversees Madison Industrial Group’s financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and banking. He works with the individual Business Controllers on tax compliance, internal control improvements, insurance, and IT.

Fernando comes to Madison with many years of experience in various industries, including retail, distribution, business process outsourcing, and construction. Prior to joining Madison, he helped an outdoor retailer expand within Canada and participated in multiple store openings, distribution, head office moves, and an acquisition.

Fernando is a CPA, CMA, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Asia and the Pacific, Philippines.

Stephanie Traylor - Manager, Employee Health & Safety

Stephanie Traylor

MANAGER, EMPLOYEE HEALTH & SAFETY

Stephanie joined the Madison Industrial Group in 2022, as Manager, Employee Health & Safety. In her role, Stephanie oversees Madison Industrial Group’s EH&S programs across our various businesses including sharing best practices, performing internal audits, setting, and monitoring metrics, ensuring appropriate training, and working with the various provincial regulatory bodies.

Stephanie has 23 years of management experience with 16 years dedicated to the field of Occupational Health and Safety. Stephanie has worked in various industries across Canada, including Mining, Construction, Rail, Marine, Trucking, Agriculture, Warehousing and Industrial. Stephanie has her Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner Diploma and several OH&S designations along with being a Registered COR Auditor for BC and Alberta.

Dasley Lourenco - Manager, Supply Chain

MANAGER, SUPPLY CHAIN

Dasley joined the Madison Industrial Group in 2022, as Manager, Supply Chain. In her role, Dasley oversees Madison Industrial Group’s procurement, inventory, vendor management, and strategic commercial agreements.

Prior to joining the group, Dasley had experience in different industries across North and South America, including retail, distribution, agriculture, construction and infrastructure, consumer goods, and healthcare. Dasley has experience in many different areas of Supply Chain, including purchasing, production planning, materials planning, distribution, and warehousing.

Dasley has a Business Administration degree in Supply Chain and Operations Management from Niagara College and holds a Specialization Certificate in Leadership & Management from Harvard Business School Online. She is also a certified Procurement Specialist by the Association of Supply Chain Management.
