The Team

Dino Di Marco

President and CEO

Dino joined the Madison Group in 2013 and has held various financial executive leadership roles in the Madison Group. Prior to his current appointment, Dino was the Group’s CFO and Executive Vice-President. As President and CEO of the Madison Industrial Group, Dino has overall responsibility for the management and execution of the Industrial Group’s business and strategic objectives. Dino currently continues to play a leadership role in the parent Madison Group.

Prior to joining the Madison Group, Dino held roles as the CFO of a multi-family residential developer and as the CFO of a biotechnology firm developing cancer therapeutics. He also worked with the Professional Services firm of PwC for several years. During his time with PwC in Canada and Italy, Dino worked with both public and private companies and advised them on mergers and acquisitions, financings, operating, and corporate governance.

Dino holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Simon Fraser University and is a CPA and Chartered Accountant.

Bruce Stebbings

Executive vice president and CFO

As Executive Vice President and CFO, Bruce oversees Madison Industrial Group’s strategic priorities and initiatives, finance and tax, strategic partnerships, human and capital management, and information technology.

Prior to this leadership role with the Madison Industrial Group, Bruce was in the role of Vice-President, Finance for seven years within this group and for four years as Corporate Controller with Glacier Media. Bruce has also been involved in a number of strategic initiatives for the Madison Group.

Bruce is a CPA, CA, an alumnus of KPMG, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Victoria.

Alan Long

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, ENERGY SERVICES

As Senior Vice President, Energy Services, Alan oversees Madison Industrial Group’s operational excellence, including marketing & sales, quality and safety, synergistic opportunities, services strategy, procurement strategy, skills development, and operational personnel recruitment.

Prior to this role, Alan was in the role of General Manager for Madison Industrial Equipment where he supported the business unit leaders with their motor product strategy but also championed various operational efficiency projects. Prior to joining the Madison Group, Alan spent 15 years with GE Industrial Services where he finished his career as Director of Shop Services overseeing 22 facilities. In addition, Alan has 10 years hands-on work experience both in Shop and Field Service specializing in Power Delivery and Electrical Rotating Equipment installation, repair and Service for GE, ABB and Siemens

Alan is a graduate of BCIT where he completed the Applied Science Technologist E&E program. Alan is a Master Black Belt in Six Sigma methodology and is a red seal EMST.

Peter Rees

Vice President, Corporate and Business Development

Peter joined the Madison Group in 2019, as Vice President, Corporate Development. In his role, Peter is involved in operational management in addition to managing capital raises, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships across the portfolio of businesses.

Prior to joining the Madison Group, Peter spent 15 years in the mining industry, where he was Chief Financial Officer for a number of US and Canadian publicly listed mining companies and a principal shareholder of the UMS Mining Group. During his tenure, the UMS Mining Group raised over $500 million in equity to fund the development of several successful mining companies. As CFO, Peter led the group’s financial, legal, M&A, and public equity offering functions.

Peter is a CPA, CA (2006), an alumnus of Deloitte, and holds a bachelor’s of Mechanical engineering from McGill University.

Josh Sobil

Director, Business Development

Josh joined the Madison Industrial Group in 2024 as Director of Business Development. In his role, Josh drives growth and innovation throughout the group focusing on identifying and growing new opportunities and driving commercial synergies.

Prior to joining the group, Josh served as Chief Commercial Officer with Exro Technologies where he was responsible for shaping the commercial strategies and played a crucial role in expanding the company’s market presence through strategic partnerships. Josh also worked at Siemens as the Mining Business Unit Manager, where he focused on reviving the company’s Canadian mining operations. Josh started his career at General Electric in Engineering and, later, moved into sales managing drive system projects and performing sales and sales operations functions.

Josh holds an MBA in Strategy & Finance from the Schulich School of Business and a Bachelor of Engineering & Management, Mechanical Engineering Specialization from McMaster University.

Tanya Tortorella

Manager, People and Talent

Tanya joined the Madison Industrial Group in 2023, as Manager, People & Talent. In her role, Tanya oversees Madison Industrial Group’s human resources strategies, employee growth and development, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, employee change management, and labour relations.

Tanya comes to Madison with many years of experience in various industries, including healthcare, construction, accounting, and manufacturing. Tanya has a Business Administration degree and all three North America HR designations, CPHR, SHRM-SCP, and CHRP for both Canada and the USA.

Stephanie Traylor

MANAGER, EMPLOYEE HEALTH & SAFETY

Stephanie joined the Madison Industrial Group in 2022, as Manager, Employee Health & Safety. In her role, Stephanie oversees Madison Industrial Group’s EH&S programs across our various businesses including sharing best practices, performing internal audits, setting, and monitoring metrics, ensuring appropriate training, and working with the various provincial regulatory bodies.

Stephanie has 23 years of management experience with 16 years dedicated to the field of Occupational Health and Safety. Stephanie has worked in various industries across Canada, including Mining, Construction, Rail, Marine, Trucking, Agriculture, Warehousing and Industrial. Stephanie has her Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner Diploma and several OH&S designations along with being a Registered COR Auditor for BC and Alberta.

Fernando Durante

Director, Finance

Fernando joined the Madison Industrial Group in 2021, as Director, Finance. In his role, Fernando oversees Madison Industrial Group’s financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and banking. He works with the individual Business Controllers on tax compliance, internal control improvements, insurance, and IT.

Fernando comes to Madison with many years of experience in various industries, including retail, distribution, business process outsourcing, and construction. Prior to joining Madison, he helped an outdoor retailer expand within Canada and participated in multiple store openings, distribution, head office moves, and an acquisition.

Fernando is a CPA, CMA, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Asia and the Pacific, Philippines.

Dasley Lourenco

Manager, Supply Chain

Dasley joined the Madison Industrial Group in 2022, as Manager, Supply Chain. In her role, Dasley oversees Madison Industrial Group’s procurement, inventory, vendor management, and strategic commercial agreements.

Prior to joining the group, Dasley had experience in different industries across North and South America, including retail, distribution, agriculture, construction and infrastructure, consumer goods, and healthcare. Dasley has experience in many different areas of Supply Chain, including purchasing, production planning, materials planning, distribution, and warehousing.

Dasley has a Business Administration degree in Supply Chain and Operations Management from Niagara College and holds a Specialization Certificate in Leadership & Management from Harvard Business School Online. She is also a certified Procurement Specialist by the Association of Supply Chain Management.
